For instance, the 1st annual South Lake Tahoe golf championship is being held at the Bijou & Lake Tahoe golf courses in South Lake Tahoe this Sept. 22 - 25. This is a 27-stroke amateur tournament that is open to the public.

Our vacation rental business was up nearly 15% in June, and according to the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, hotel occupancy was up about 5%. Vacationers are staying closer to home, which makes Lake Tahoe a vacation haven for Bay Area & Sacramento visitors.
